State of Hawaii Department of Education McKinley Community School for Adults, NIC Hawaii Launch New Online Payment Service for Farrington Campus

The Department of Education McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA) and NIC Hawaii have launched an online service to accept payments for class registrations and school supplies at the Farrington Campus, with other campuses rolling out payment services in the coming year.

The service went live on August 29, 2022 and can be accessed via mcsa.ehawaii.gov.

“We’re excited to launch a new online payment system starting with the Farrington Campus” said Helen Sanpei, School Principal at the McKinley Community School for Adults.” This digital solution will provide our students with the ability to pay online and supports our commitment to improve our services to the community.”

This service allows users to pay for their MCSA registration and other fees online via credit card or eCheck and sends an automated email confirmation to the user after the payment has been submitted online. Administrative features for staff include an admin module to view and manage online submissions and a separate reporting function for the fiscal data.

“Our ongoing partnership with the Department of Education has enabled the creation of this digital government solution,” said Burt Ramos, NIC Hawaii General Manager. “We want to help them provide fast, efficient and safe mechanisms for the students to interact with the schools.”

The online payment system was created in partnership with NIC Hawaii, the official internet portal manager of eHawaii.gov.
