Hawaii Information Consortium Selected as a Winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards

The Telly Awards has named Hawaii Information Consortium as a bronze winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for their video piece titled The New Hawaii.gov Website. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.

Well, it’s official… the trophy that has graced our office for the past year is being sent back to corporate today. It’s time to pass the torch to the next leader in volunteering at NIC and we wish them the best. DBEDT Launches Online Tax Credit Research Activity Survey

The Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism (DBEDT) has launched the online Tax Credit Research Activity (TCRA) Survey (DBEDT Form 346) at dbedt.hawaii.gov. This online form, to be filed by qualified high technology businesses, was mandated by the Legislature for businesses that want to claim a high tech tax credit.

Hawaii Launches Mobile Compatible Insurance License Search

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ (DCCA) Insurance Division has launched a mobile device-compatible Insurance Licensing Search at insurance.ehawaii.gov/hils. The webpage was redesigned to be mobile-first responsive and accessible to individuals with an internet browser on their mobile device.

Hawaii Freshwater Game Fishing License Application – Now Mobile

Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR), recently launched a new look and mobile-friendly design for their online Freshwater Game Fishing License service. HNS Playground Building Day: October 12, 2013

The new HNS playground is finished and ready for the kids as they head back to school today after fall break. It was such a great community event with many volunteers… from HNS parents, faculty, alumni, friends, military personnel,and builders from around the island.
