Adopt a Family 2018

For our fourth year, HIC adopted families for the holidays. Adopt A Family is a seasonal program administered by Helping Hands Hawaii that links individuals and families in need with donors in the community. Participants are referred to the program through their large network of community partners, and donors participate by adopting a family and fulfilling their holiday wish lists.

This year, we adopted 11 individuals – a family of 6 as well as a family of 5. We divvied up the members as a group and did our shopping – then met back up to wrap the gifts as a team.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the generous staff who participated, we really made a difference for our fellow friends and neighbors this season.
