We can work with you regardless of your current and future budget situation. Beyond the traditional fixed rate model, Tyler Hawaii is the only company able to deliver custom digital government services at no cost using our transaction-based funding model.

Transaction based

We generate revenue through convenience fees (typically $1 – $3) that are added on to the digital government services we build. Over time, these fees cover all costs of development, maintenance and expansion at no cost to government.

Enterprise approach: The transaction fees allow for the support and delivery of eGovernment solutions to all agencies with digital needs, not just larger agencies with resources. It supports long term growth and expansion and allows Tyler Hawaii to reinvest back in to the infrastructure and employees required to support Hawaii’s evolving government priorities.

Sustainable funding stream: This long term funding source sidesteps recurring government funding challenges and requires no appropriations, tax hikes, or agency allocations.

Market driven: Driving awareness and usage is the only way we get paid, which gives us built in incentive to market our own services on the agencies behalf and get them out quickly.

Transparent: A strong oversight committee ensures that the state receives maximum value.

Fixed rate

When transaction fees are not feasible we can offer services based on the hourly rates specified in the SPO contract, at a rate typically below the market.

Hybrid

A hybrid approach uses both the transaction based and fixed rate models together. There are development costs, however, they are discounted as there is also a transactional component to the service.
