Hawaii Police Department Website Celebrates Two More Awards

The Hawaii Police Department (HPD) has once again been nationally recognized as a winner in two additional award competitions for the redesign of its official website, www.hawaiipolice.gov. Since its launch in November 2024, the site has earned a total of seven awards for design excellence and innovation.

MarCom Awards – Gold

With nearly 7,000 entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the MarCom Awards honor outstanding achievements in marketing and communication.

Tyler Technologies partnered with the Hawaii Police Department on the agency’s first major website update since 2011. The redesigned site enhances public engagement and improves access to key information, including an events calendar, department history, crime prevention resources, and profiles of the department’s K9 officers.

Davey Awards – Silver

The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts presented HPD with a Silver Davey Award, recognizing the successful collaboration between HPD and Tyler Technologies in delivering a modern, user-friendly website experience.

“We’re so proud to receive seven awards recognizing our client’s success,” said Rosie Warfield, Website Services Manager at Tyler Technologies. “Redesigning the HPD website was a rewarding project, and these awards affirm the creativity and hard work of all stakeholders who contributed to delivering an exceptional site.”
