State of Hawaii Attorney General, NIC Hawaii Provide New Online Collections Payment Services

The Attorney General’s Civil Recoveries Division and NIC Hawaii have launched an online payment platform to accept payments for debts owed to the State of Hawaii that have been referred to the Civil Recoveries Division.

The service went live on August 12, 2022 and can be accessed via agpayments.ehawaii.gov.

“We’re excited to launch a new Attorney General payment system online,” said Michael Vincent, Supervising Deputy General of the Civil Recoveries Division.” This digital solution will provide our customers with the ability to pay online and supports our commitment to improve our services to the community.”

The public can either pay as a guest or as a logged-in user. Those who log in to make payments can also view their account and payment history. The online service also features a shopping cart, giving public users the option to pay for multiple invoices at once.

In addition, the system streamlines the Attorney General’s workflow, by allowing staff the ability to upload billing files and retrieve payment files on demand.

“Our ongoing partnership with the Attorney General’s office has enabled the creation of this digital government solution,” said Burt Ramos, NIC Hawaii General Manager. “We want to help them provide fast, efficient and safe mechanisms for their citizens to interact with the State’s Attorney General.”

The online payment service was created in partnership with NIC Hawaii, the official internet portal manager of eHawaii.gov.
